About Abhay Deol

Born on 15th March 1976 in Mumbai, India as Abhay Singh Deol, he is the son of Ajit Singh Deol, a director and producer. Abhay has always been compared to his Uncle Dharmendra and Cousins Sunny and Bobby. However with the mischievous glint in his eyes and his choice of films, he has created a niche for himself in the film industry. Active in theater while in school, he chose acting as his career over his other interests - Painting, philosophy and journalism. He completed his graduation from Mumbai University and traveled all the way to Los Angeles to fine tune his acting skills in a two year acting course. Abhay begun his career with Socha na tha, which got him good reviews for his performance.
