For all those who think the colour of the sea is blue, look again... look deep into the jaws of the ocean, and believe me it is as red as the blood that runs in my veins… Mankind has shed blood in these waters, we’ve died learning the world wasn’t flat, we drowned looking for golden treasures, we’ve killed fish for our stomachs, we’ve murdered whales to use blubber as lipstick, we kill sharks before they can kill us.
From shipwrecks to fishing with a stick, the sea is full of our blood and the blood of the mammals that live inside it, and now it has even my own blood to add to its cold waters…

You’ve seen me for years now, I’ve made memorable movies, I’ve made movies to be forgotten about, ones that will go down in history and also ones that will go in the bin, but never have I made a movie quite like Blue… I speak to you personally, now, forget professional talk. I want to share my feelings with you. In my experience, I believe this movie is legendary in it’s own right, not because of me at all, but because Bollywood has ventured into the unknown. The scariest places in the universe are those where you cannot breathe alone, the moon and the ocean. Today, we have conquered and mastered one of those places, we have made a movie where no Indian actor/crew/director has been before, and it’s been the most awe-inspiring time of my life.
The feeling you get when you first dive into the ocean, that jolt of anticipation of whether your oxygen tank is going to work, where your next breath is coming from, and then the silence, the bubbles clear from your initial splash and you take your first deep breath, it panics you because you pull in too hard for fear of not getting enough air in your lungs, then you look around and absorb your new territory, a world where humans don’t belong, where you are now at the mercy of what lies under the sea, breathtaking yet dangerous…
I’m talking to you now about things I haven’t told anyone, not even my wife or director. I tried things down there that I thought I wouldn’t ever be able to do. You see people take for granted that I can do stunts and that I love action, but I love me safe and alive too, ya know. I went down there with everyone saying, "You’ll be fine, you’re a natural." But I went down knowing they want me to take my mask and my oxygen tank off my back and fight an experienced underwater stuntman at 100 feet deep, not panic and not be phased by the 40 sharks I had circling my head. And while I’m diving deeper and deeper to start my shot, all I know is my wife is up on deck, my son is watching the sharks going round the boat, I can't help but think all I want is to see my son again. So I went down knowing Aarav could see me on the monitor on the boat, I had to make him proud and not fear for his Dad. I did my first couple of shots, perfect, no problem, then ‘Bam’ one kick to a goon's head forced my body to shoot up and I cracked my head on a rusted shipwreck below. Instantly, blood started pouring from my head, but the safety guy sounded the emergency and baited all the sharks as quickly as possible away from the scent of my blood as I was rushed to the surface and off to a hospital for injections…
Moral of the story, wear a crash helmet at all times… My father always said, “No one breaks records by sitting on a sofa!” So just enjoy the film, I pray the experience is as good for you as it was for me… Welcome to the deep 'Blue’ or whatever you think it is out there…

Dear Concerned,
Social service -the most frequently chanted mantra and performed prayer has in fact become the life breath of society today. Every day records the birth of a new organization/philanthropist dedicating themselves to the same cause and the needy have remained needy inspite of all these efforts.
Organizations for service must be coupled with individuals rendering service.Let us Share and Let us Serve eventually Share A Service.Share A Service is a movement which is not an organization for service but does organized service it is not taken forward by a leader but is a our own innate strength which leads our soul to serve society.
Clothes distribution day 2007 and 2008 have created a reference that given an opportunity every human being renders substantial support for a social cause. Growing from humble beginnings in the year 2007 in Hyderabad The Clothes Distribution Day spread its wings wide in 2008 to attain the status of a National event.Now again in this year 2009 is calling one and all to transform a 0.01% of our self centered nature towards building someone else’s life.The target needy are one and a half crore of people.
WHY DECEMBER 31?
This is a global event wherein people the world over celebrate the day by welcoming the new year and bid adieu the old year.This is a transition date.We prepare ourselves for the new year by discarding all the negative that has not made us happy and take up the positive which will make our life happy secure and comfortable.
Share A Service as a part of the offline projects has systematically worked on the basic needs food clothing and shelter. Food and shelter is an ongoing round the year ongoing project and to render proper justice to it ,the clothes aspect is focused during the months of October to December.A minimum of 6 to 8 pairs of clothes are required by a person for the duration of a year. If these are donated to him/her at the beginning of the year then the rest of his time, energies and resources could be focused to his other basic needs.If all those people who can afford an unused dress in the coming year could pause and collect a used pair and donate it to someone who wishes to wear a new dress but cannot afford it then YOUR OLD DRESS CAN BECOME SOMEONE ELSE’S NEW DRESS in the new year.
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
-Donate used clothes.
-Set up a collection point in your garage/ store room/office/ apartment/institution /workplace for your colony.
-Volunteer at your nearest collection point to sort out the collected clothes.
- Spread the message to your friends, acquaintances, known circle.
-Have a promotional poster set up at a prominent place of your area.
-Send out the e-invite to your colleagues/employees and place the appeal on the notice board of your establishment.
-Conduct a collection drive in your organization and donate the clothes on behalf of your organization.
-Provide information about the needy who require the clothes .
