Nadeem Akhtar Rahulji !
ground reality is that the glaring similaraty b/w both the countries is abject poverty. For the sake of humanity and our future generations we have to unleash a path of peace on war footings.

Mehroz Siraj Rahul sahab, I can easily reverse that question on to you as well. Just replace terrorism with Indian involvements in WAziristan and Balochistan.....

The reality lies in peace. In moving forward with a united approach, towards all outstanding isses, including terrorism...

PEace is the way forward,....

Mehroz Siraj
Mehroz Siraj I agree to many things here.... :) However, what i would like to add to this discussion is talking about our common penchant and love that we reflect at the times of celebrations and occasions. Whether you talk about Eid, Diwali, Basant, etc. In Pakistan, we are very used to the idea of showing the way we celebrate things to the western world, in order to show the world, the Pakistan that loves food, sports and music and shuns terrorism.

Just as occasions like Eid and celebrations like Independence have traditionally united all of Pakistan, similarly celebrations like Holi and Diwali would show the world true colours of india. Just like we in Pakistan do not differentiate between Muslims and non-Muslims at the time of Eid, similarly, in India everbody plays Holi and everybody enjoys Diwali.....:)

Sohni S Nupar.. r u kidding me!?? Pakistan DOESN'T CARE for Kashmir or Kashmiris (muslim or non-muslim)!! It just wants to expand its boundries and be able to own the richest resources available there! Do some research on whats happening in the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir... look at how miserable there life is... Govt has done nothing for them... just acquired the piece of land thats it...

Vivek Paul
Vivek Paul There are various things. I feel that one of the biggest things that do & will always bind us is our common, shared history. The pre-partition era as well as the entire partition episode in itself...all the death & destruction it caused to either side is the same for both of us. Bcoz those are wounds that can never heal for either side, simply bcoz there are no winners or losers in a war.

Sampriti Ahuja There are wayy too many! Where do we start? Let me talk about my big passion in this contest: food! Peshawari food which has always been a commonality that you get not only in some popular restaurants in India & the by-lanes of Chandni Chowk or in the food street of Lahore!
