Join this community to support India in the ICC Twenty20 World Cup Cricket 2009

Team India won the last T20 World Cup in 2007. We believe we can do it again. Our team is even stronger this time and in the best of its form. Team India’s run so far in T20 World Cup has been good. Spearheaded by ‘Captain Cool’ Dhoni, the defending champions have already made it to the Super Eight.

If we can continue with this form, we can surely get second time lucky!

In 2007, no one did foresee that India would be the first team to win the inaugural T20 World Cup. But the zealots of Team India proved the pundits wrong. In a nail biting finish Dhoni's brigade beat Pakistan and created history.

Apart from clinching the victory, the first edition of T20 World Cup would remain etched in our memory for another reason. Who can forget the sight of Yuvraj hitting six sixes off Stuart Broad! He is the only batsman to have achieved the rare feat in T20 format of the game.

Now, after two years, the men in blue, fresh from IPL, are ready to rock again. With MS Dhoni, Goutam Gambhir, Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj, our batting line-up is one of the most destructive in world cricket as of now. Our bowling side is also a formidable bunch with Harbhajan Sing, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma, Pragyan Ojha in form. (Full list of players in Team India)
