Topic owner: Ashley Peters: Virender Sehwag has been ruled out of the ongoing ICC World T20 due to a shoulder injury.
I think it will for sure affect the game, his explosive batting style has the ability to ignite an innings and he can also bowl occasional off-spinners,,, so its a big loss to the team at a time when he could contribute a lot.

Indian media doesn’t actually like India winning matches. The stuff they report becomes stale if India performs well. It is when there is a controversy that they become active they can get more viewership and more TRP. They thrive on controversies that happen or the ones they can create.
So they are trying to invent a rift within the Indian team when none exists.
The media with its false reporting tactics even succeeded in provoking the super cool Dhoni in a press conference and then made it as another super news flashing “Dhoni loses cool”.
So its just a game or TRP for them !!!

Its a case of absolutely "Time pass reporting" by the media, there is no such rift, Only lack of communication on the part of Sehwag. And then dhoni's reticence only made media's job easier in creating a 'rift'

Not at all .This indian team has an excellent mix of players and is well capable of papering and filling up on absence of players. So I don't really think Sehwag's exit will make any difference
