Fluff the bow and trim the ends at an angle. Fold the zigzag paper to fit your package and tape it to the box's edge (figure 7a-b). Secure it with extra tape at both ends. All that's left to do is add a fabulous flourish with a ribbon. Begin by wrapping the ribbon around the box and tying it into a Leaving the first flap folded under, pinch the next crease and fold it towards you. Fold one side further than the other to create an angle (figure 6a). Alternate sides and repeat the process to create a zigzag effect (figure 6b-c). Fold and roll the paper lengthwise into equal one-inch folds, with the colored or patterned side out, to create creases (figure 4a-b). Unfold the paper, but use your creases as guides for the next steps (figure 5). After folding (figure 3c), tape the inside edge, using double-sided tape for seamless results (figure 3d). Repeat on the other side. Now you have a basic but beautifully wrapped gift. Wrap the paper around the box, aligning the folded edge of the paper to the bottom edge of the box (figure 2b). At each end of the box, fold in the sides, bottom and top of the wrapping paper (figure 3a-b). Lay the paper lengthwise and trim the sides until they are slightly longer than the height of the box (figure 1). Be sure to conceal the unfinished edges by folding them under (figure 2a).
