In my opinion these are ways of wasting time and money, i don think there is a need to go for such stupid things. gals look beautiful if they are simple and tell me how many parlours used to be there in ealier times, and how much did our mothers went to parlours so did it harm them in any way and they used to be so beautiful. My advice to all stop following these wetsern trends and rather spend time in somthing useful.

I think even if it is not always possible to go out and get a professional facial done., then also one should not take chances with their skin and that too with the face, if you ruin it you will regret!!!!!!!!!

Can men go for facials? If yes then plz advice what types of facials are there for men in teh market?
Kirti Goyal Yes there is nothing wrong in getting a facial done, nowadays you will find many men opting for facials and other beauty treatments like gals..I generally do it at home which i have learned from one of my beautician friend and do it for my mother n sis as well. Here are the Steps- firstly we need to clean the skin by washing the face with warm water in order to open those pores and then scrub the face gently with a facial scrub. You can use any scrub available in the market.
After washing the face once again with warm water, gently massage the face with a massaging cream. There are a lot of Home Facial creams available in the market but, Boutique and Shehnaz Hussain are some of the more popular ones. Your face should be a little wet and the massaging should be done in a upward and outward motions. The whole idea is to make the open pores of the skin to absorb the cream. The upward and outward motions help in tightening and lifting the cheek bones and other parts of the face. The longer you massage your face, the better it is. If Possible, try to massage for at least 5 to 10 minutes. After that just leave your face for 5 minutes and in the meanwhile get the steamer ready.
Pour the required amount of water in the steamer and heat it up. Now sit on a comfortable chair with the steamer in from of You and bend your face over the steam and cover your head with a towel. Soon you will feel the heat on the skin, don't over do it, when you feel that its getting too hot, switch off the steamer and turn your face away. A alternative is to microwave a wet towel for one minute or soak a towel in hot water and then squeeze it in order to remove excess water and then cover your face with this hot towel.
After you are done with the steam, applying a face mask is the final step of Home Facial. Apply Mask evenly all over the face and neck and put thin slices of cucumber on the eye lids. Now relax and wash the face pack once it dries up. If your skin is dry after washing the face, simply apply a moisturizer.
There is as such no hard and fast rule as to how often one must do a home Facial, however the more often the better it is for the skin. By more often I mean around once every twenty days to a month.
It is important to understand that we all have different skins and what works for me may not exactly work for you. Use basic common sense while doing facial and if you feel to much irritation, then stop your facial immediately and wash your face with water, I would advise plz consult your doctor or dermatologist about which product is right for you based on your skin type.

I believe facial is imp for all women it not only helps to clean and remove the dead skin but also gives the right vitamins to the skin that are needed for a healthy glowing skin and improves your blood circulation also.. I do it my way with home made products , if you like it try it.
Step 1-Clean your skin really well. Mix 1-2 tablespoons whole milk along with olive oil. Massage into skin, splash warm water on your face to remove. Use a soft towel or tissues to wipe off your face. Even tomato juice is a good skin cleanser, Smooth on skin and rinses well with water.
Step 2-Now you need to open your pores. Boil some water in a steamer/mocrowave or gas. You can add some mint leaves if you like that way you get the pores open and your sinuses open at the same time. Place a towel over your head and put your head over the pot(take the pot off the gas). You must be careful with the boiled water and not spill it and burn yourself. Take steam to open your pores.
A simple way to open pores is to place a wet wash cloth in the microwave and get it very warm place wash cloth over entire face for several minutes. (Be very careful when removing cloth from microwave that it is not too hot).
Step 3-Make a facial mask to pull out the dirt from your pores. Mix 1 tablespoon all natural yogurt just plain not low fat or no fat, 1 tablespoon honey. Heat honey in the microwave (be careful with honey when removing from microwave) to get it warm then add yogurt and mix well, apply to face and let sit for about 15 minutes or so.
You may choose instead to mix cup oatmeal and two or three tablespoons of honey and one egg. Mix well; it will need to be a pasty consistency where it will stick to your face. Either way let dry, wash off with a warm wash cloth.
Step 4-Now it’s time to exfoliate. Since you have already used a mask it is not necessary to scrub hard at all. You should never scrub your face hard anyway. Once again you can use an over the counter or make you own. Mix oatmeal in a bowl with water until its pasty or Mix 1 tbsp each of baking soda, honey, and olive oil until it will spread good on your face. Using a circular motion making sure you get the entire face especially around the nose and temple area.
You can also mix 2 tsp. oatmeal, 1 tsp. baking soda and alcohol until paste. Apply and remove the same way.
Step 5-Now put a toner on your face. This is the simplest of all because there is no mixing. You can also add a small amount of honey or olive oil just a few drops. Smooth on skin with finger tips.
Another toner is simply straight fresh cut lemon. Simply slice a lemon in half and smooth over entire face after you have applied the lemon to your face rinse off the flesh of the lemon with warm water and wipe with damp cloth. Take the lemon you have left and store them in a zip lock bag. When you are ready to use them again , squeeze them slightly and you will have new fresh lemon juice raise to the surface.
Step 6- Moisturizing is the last process in doing your facial. One more no mix product to use for your facial is olive oil. Buy a good quality olive oil, and apply it at night before you go to bed. Massage it in all areas of your face, especially those areas that are prone to wrinkles, lightly pat it your face dry.
