Ya Its mutual understanding for which love last long, not any attraction or excitement. With time love demands different behavior with phases. At first its attraction, then excitement, then when love grows mature its your understanding of each others temperament, likeness, priorities and valuing them that keep the bonding go on. And what an icing on a cake if the person knows you really well before. In my case it worked so I think friends can be good lovers.

Well I say no. Friends cant become lovers reasons are simple.
- When you are with friends you are not bound, you feel free and enjoy. In contrary once you are in relation the definition of enjoyment change.
- If you are firnd and then became lovers, then be ready that in future any one else can be your friend and that friendship tuns out to be a relation that means breaking old relation and in terms of corporate life means extra maritial affairs.
- Friend ship is all about mutual understanding that even if you dont meet you know any time you will call or meet you will receive positive vibrations but loves makes you think things like sacrifice and compromise.
So my suggestion would be to love only one and that should not be your friend , however, after love you can dafenitiely become good friend.

Yes friends can be great lovers, since my sis has married her long time friend and they both gel so well. they are great as a couple. because they are not new to each other they know each other strenght and weaknesses. so they dont have to go through the trial n error period of a relationship.

Yes, I belive that Friends are good lover b'cos Friendship is a Macro concept and Lover is a micro concept. In additiom to this i presume it is not necessary that good lover is a good friend
