I love dancing and so i combine dance with exercise. Since i believe any exercise is more effortless if you do it with other people to a dance beat and when dance is the exercise, it becomes a pleasure!!!! Dance fitness, also known as “beat-based” fitness, is becoming big business in gyms and dance studios and a hot favorite among celebrities tooo. so guys dance your way to fitness and health.

Dance Fitness can be good add-on to regular Gymming.

I did it for 6 weeks and found that stiffness of my body going out.... as gymming makes ur muscles vry stiff.... dance can give u a bit of flexibility..... good for that HOT HOT look.

Hi.

Yes you are right..

2years ago I was a professional dancer and had a complete dance and athletic posture..as i am an engineer by profession I was transferred to bangalore for a project . Because of hetic schedule I quit dance and I had put on 10 kg weight.

When I came back to pune all my friends were shocked to see my body.

And I joined the gym ..so I and my trainer decided to take aerobics and dance..

From the past three months I am taking aerobics cum dance and it really worked out..

Within 2 months I got my previous posture.

Really dance is a wonderful exercise..

It helgs in burning 900-1000 cal a day

YES Dancing is one or the way an excercise for whole body which keeps the person happy. It is good for all deseases treatment. The total body moves in a different angle ,your hand and feet work like walking. It helps in apetite and improves blood circulation and brain power. Those p[eople who does not want to join any yoga or brisk walking,I recomend them to have a fun in dancing of any type be it belly or other type with free mind.I agree the verson of Aliyah,Piyali,James,Aarti's comments.

I think all forms of dance fitness are combining fun with a great cardio workout. Many of them are also great forms of core exercise – developing strength in those core muscles which are so essential for fighting abdominal flab in our forties and beyond.

yeah girl you are right! infact dancing combines a cardio workout with load bearing exercise – vital for building bone density and resisting osteoporosis. The fact that you have fun as well increases the flood of endorphins to your body and reduces blood pressure – and makes dance fitness great for all round anti aging health.

This Latin street dance is similar to the mambo, but faster. Wildly popular in nightclubs as well as health clubs, all forms of Latin dance are being taught as dance fitness.

Yeah, Belly dancing is good for balance and posture. This dance strengthens the back and the muscles of the pelvic floor. It tones hamstrings, thighs, abs, glutes and hips. It’s a great place to start for beginners but, as you progress, dance moves can be faster and more aerobic giving you a full body workout. Great for toning the abdominal flab and developing core strength – gently

There are many ways to combine dance and exercise. Ballroom dancing the most recent and popularit may look elegant but this is no easy option – practising ballroom dancing means a heart pumping workout. Posture is enhanced as well as balance and flexibility. No doubt about it this is strenuous exercise but at its most graceful and fluid.

Did you ever notice that dancers are always slimmer, healthier, have more energy and vitality, and have a lot more fun than non-dancers? That's because dancing is the FUN way to better health. And because it is fun, people stick with it for a lifetime (unlike a lot of short-term health-nuts). This not only affects your dancing, but it impacts all the parts of your vigorous lifetime pursuits. When you are in good health, it allows you to enjoy life, in many more ways that impact you every day.
