Topic owner: Tanvir Raj: as per my research there are other solutions to fight for the tru RIGHT. In my opinion in INDIA the media is a GOD power people tend to like and believe things that media wants them to like or believe, so apart from the parades and blogs we should reach the masses through the media. It maybe through movies, short films or live rock band performances that talk towards what is right, towards the very right of not only gays but to people that think indulging or liking the same sex is NOT a crime. If its time to revolt this is the way to do it. Yes it might hurt a bit but hey no pain no gain. I personally bieleve in getiing rights that belong to everyhuman beeing from birth or die trying to get them.NEVER GIVE UP!!

ya i accept dat dats why my post is named as solution ppl those who knw what is right and what needs to be done like us needs to enter those fields and change them from inside if hindi movies portray them badly then ppl who knw what is true will have to start making movies dat show them truly we shud try making short movies and show them on platforms like CANNE and FICCI

Ya tanvir, i accept that media is very powerfull , but dont u think that popular media ( film and tv) present a twisted image of gays. Read my discussion forum CLICHED PORTRAYL OF GAYS IN HINDI CINEMA AND TELEVISION.
