Conventionally ,it is observed that a Bollywood actress' career finishes after she gets married. We have seen it in the case of many successful names like Karishma Kapoor, Kajol, Madhuri Dixit, Sridevi etc. These women quit at the peak of their career & never return to showbiz. Is this good though or should they continue?
I feel what u r saying is tru for only indian actress but not all actress..taking india as example we should not generalize it..but i feel yes, it must not end...in indian films we see heroines as glamour dolls but not as a person or character that why they end..but it must be stopped..
It should not be, but it is the sole reason why so many actresses keep putting off marriage - simply bcoz theire saleability goes down once they are married.
This is a tradition that has been carrying on for years, but there are some exceptions now. Like Malaika Arora Khan who is one of the country's sexiest moms!
No I don't think so. Because most actresses I have noticed, become even more good looking after getting married. Like, look at Karishma & Kajol, they don't at all look old. In fact, they become even hotter! They should not stop acting just because they are married. It's just wrong!

No, it should not be the end. I was so happy to see Kajol making a come back in 'Fanaa' & 'U Me Aur Hum' & now in the upcoming 'My Name Is Khan'.
