some researches raises doubts over the safety of ultrasound scans used to view fetuses in the womb, scans create changes in cells. Now what should a pregnant lady do? I just want to know that does having an ultrasound be harmful in any form for the foetus?

ultrasound examinations should be done only when they are medically necessary, not when they are performed for social reasons. like for depicting the sex of your child....

I have got ultrasound done every trimester when i was expecting and have absolutely normal child.. there is nothing wrong i guess in getting ultrasounds done. They are i believe for the benefit only where you can see your child moving and healthy.
