A high-ranking Police administrator molests a helpless minor girl, harasses and threatens the victim and the family to no end, uses his administrative position and clout to obtain immunity from being punished, secures promotions and professional accolades showing ultimate disregard to the rule of law, drives the young victim to commit suicide and finally gets away with a nominal punishment.
How many more Sabrina Lalls (sister of Jessica Lall), Chaman Lal Mattoos (father of Pritadarshini Mattoos), Neelam Kataras (mother of Nitish Katara), Aradhana Prakashs (friend of Ruchika Girhotra) have to fight their lone battles to get the wheel of justice moving?
Let us prove it again that the citizens of this country are vigilant – join hands in demand of justice.
Even if Rathore was punished Ruchika wouldn't become alive again. But the culprits and his aides in evil, the school, the bureaucracy and the politicians have to be brought to book. No stripping of medals and discontinuation of his pension is sufficient to match the offence that has been committed.

Ruchika case: The Timeline

12 Aug 1990: Ruchika Girhotra, a 14-year old promising tennis player was molested in the office of the then IGP of Police SPS Rathore, who was also the President of the Haryana Lawn Tennis Association at the time. She complained to the Chief Minister and the Home secretary.
20Sep, 1990: Ruchika got expelled from her school – Sacred Heart School for Girls, Sector 26, Chandigarh, on dubious excuses.
6 Apr 1992, 30 Mar 1993, 10 May 1993, 12 Jun1993, 30 Jun1993, 4 Sep 1993: Several fabricated FIRs were filed on Rathore’s behest against Ruchika’s brother Ashu for car thefts.

28 Dec 1993: Ruchika, unable to bear the mental torture and constant humiliation committed suicide.

30 Sep 1999: Departmental enquiry exonerated Rathore from the charges.
16 Nov 2000: The CBI filed charge sheet against Rathore.
