People in our country are fighting on petty issues like religion, culture, caste, language spoken, state, etc. It is high time that we consider ourselves Indian first and Indian last. What you say is good but removing surnames against our names is impossible..since atleast in US you need First Name and Last ( Family ) name. But I guess in India it is possible. We you Last ( Family ) Name initial followed by First Name and Middie Name. Atleast in India it is good.
