well...blind date is blind... one need not expect anything out of a blind date ... take as a opportunity to meet a new person in ur life...coz that person can in future be a friend a business contact or anyone... who knows u might benefit out of that meet... and for girls...as it is u need not pay for the coffee at CCD ... so why worry about the consequences !! go ahead and make a friend atleast...

A blind date?A sure fascinating idea, a surprise! To exprience something horrible and awkward, not really a loss! As the idea would be to just dine, sip a drink, let the guy/uncle pay the bill and get off ! So it's fun and profitable if you want it to be ! *wink*

I personally have never been on one. Once I almost set myself up after just one conversation over phone but we both were scared of venturing the unknown. But I think I would really want to do it again (d next time no telephonic conversation)

Yes, I would go on a blind date. I will go because of excitement. You see the main goal for me on a date is not getting into bed and have sex with her. But to meet someone new, have some nice time wherein she can feel comfortable. Have a nice candle light dinner in addition to movie, or a walk, talk and mostly important listen to her, not judge her and come to conclusions. I donot mind meeting new people whether it is on romantic evening which you call a date or for a nice lunch in a restaurant. I donot mind going on blind date with my mind wide open and not at all expecting only sex in my mind ( if it comes I will take it..lol..)

Oh man! I was set up with a horrible guy,he was physically unfit(which wasnt the big turnoff)he starts telling me how his family doesnt want to acknowledge him because he doesnt like to work and want to become dependent on the government for the rest of his life!I I was speachless!!!! I went on a blind date with someone my co-worker told me I was a lot younger than she was. I was 22 and she was in her 30s and at the time that was much too old for my maturity level.
I was also set up on a blind date with someone who ended up being a friend for awhile. I havent spoken to her in years though. so you see every thing ahs its good and bad results.. you cant exactly tag it as a bad experience...
