'New Delhi' vs 'Dilli': Which side are you?

Much more urgent issues to tackle

Nitin Barman
Topic owner: Nitin Barman: There are much bigger and more urgent issues to take care rather than politicians and bureaucrats wasting valuable time on such a ridiculous issue. Mr Gill should concentrate on the preparations of the Commonwealth Games which is lagging behind. Urgent issues include a massive traffic problem, faulty drainage lines, impending monsoon and subsequent waterlogging, electricity shortage, drinking water shortage, rising crime etc. Let us not trivialize these issues by concentrating on changing the name of our city. A name change would infer a lot of paperwork and use a lot of bureaucratic time.
