Guys, this occured to me & I thought I'd ask the members of this group: Do you think love happens only once in a lifetime? Or can it happen more than once?

love can happen more than once until you succeed and feel that this is the person with whom you feel you can spend life...what i mean to say is a person loves his partner very much because of some reason they break up..so what you think they must do...stop sit and let live pass by...no they will naturally look for other love..so love will happen in life not once ( in some cases maybe once ) but until you get a love that will stay with you for life..

Just as a discussion...how can be love spontaneous..how can you fall in love without knowing the other person and being a boy..i frankly feel..if a boy says same thing about a gal and I am sure invariably it is lust....i dont know abt gals..

Love is pure by nature. It happens every day and every moment. With some it happens for the same single person all through the life and becomes eternal and for some it is a joy that has to be shared with different people at different places.

i think,we cannot understand what's love,it's a feeling that is most difficult to understand..i think it's very difficult to see true love nowadays,bcoz people doesn't know what love is

Vivek, this is a very interesting question which can have a lot of debate & discussion on it. Since time immemorial, so many philosophers & thinkers have come & said so many things about love, whether there is only one in every lifetime or not. But I think, it is an individual thing & is different for different people.

Only once we have lived our whole life, can we say that this was love & this wasn't & what was real & what wasn't.

Well said, I agree. The idea has also been captured in movies like 'Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna' where they show how love can actually happen more than once in a lifetime.

I don't agree. In today's day & age, I see so many teenagers falling in & out of love practically every day.
They change their boyfriends / girlfriends almost every other month!
& surprisingly, they claim to be in love every time. So who can judge or correctly say that love happens to them only once?
It can happen as many times!
