My friend and his wife, both are in the same profession but work for rival companies. He often tells me that this his wife feels jealous of him and expects him to share the secrets about his company and what new policies they are coming up with. I think this issue has ruined their relationship to a great extent.

What do you think couples should do in such situations? Where should they draw a line and not allow these professional concerns come in way of their marital bliss.

never talk abt work when they are at home. they can talk abt something else. and not to discuss personal data of their company. i knw being human u cant just switch in to different modes like a computer. :D but well u gotta be diff at times and if u practice u can mold urself accordingly. its best if they go out some whr and talk abt old times on weekends or even meet old frnds and make moments that make their relationship more powerful

Solution is very simple .. don't love ur companies . just love ur work/job. I believe by doing this, profession won't have much affect on our personal lives.

disgusting. she needs to grow up. Couples should respect each others' professional life and not let them come in way of their married relationship.

this is not done. just because you are a couple.. that does not mean the husband would start disclosing the secrets of his organization.

Your friend should stalk to his wife n make her understand the fact that both are working for rival companies so expecting such things can put both of them into trouble n if she wants him to reveal some then she should be willing to do so when asked by her husband....

yeah, i agree belonging to same profession and yet working for rival companies can lead to endless problems. tell your friend to have a mutual understanding with his wife and then maybe things can get better
