Sridhar Rt This is not vulgar. Imagine Kareena and Saif swapping their respective positions. Then this could have been rated as vulgar more

Topic owner: Piyali Bannerjee: A lot of hue & cry has been made about the poster of the forthcoming film 'Kurbaan'. It shows a bare-backed Kareena with a bare-chested Saif. I want to ask the members of this group what their opinions are. Do you think the poster is vulgar?

Navin Bhansali
Navin Bhansali The movie itself is stupid with no good direction. It seemed as if I was watching another New York.

Meenakshi Mehta
Meenakshi Mehta Well the definition of the word "VULGAR" differs from person to person, if one thinks it's vulgar we always have an option of not watching the film... but then who does not want to see something hot and steemy....

As far as Kareena darlin is concerned.... she desparately needs a hit so why not cash on her relationship status with saifu....

Sandy Sawant
Sandy Sawant Vulgarities definition depends upon person to person. But this poster is vulgar. After seeing this poster someone imagine this type of situation from his or her partner there is only matter of age. And age is the not limit for imagination.

Shilu George
Shilu George I don't know, what they want to convey through this poster. think our culture and try to make film on that. Bollywood is just try to imitate hollywood. when they are showing its acceptable, bcoz there lifestyle and culture is like that.

A Ahmed
A Ahmed I would not call it vulgar but it is offensive especially with Saif looking down... and I guess I would not want my kids watching this movie. Also this has become kind of the latest in bollywood but really I think bollywood should start thinking about INDIAN culture. What they are showing now-a-days is what we would see in the Western world but I am starting to feel that bollywood has started following this trend and I fear that once famous indian culture would soon end up being just a myth. Thats sad to think that there is no limits now as to whats shown in movies, TV, etc. I am sorry if I offended somebody but this is what I felt.

Anton Wilson
Anton Wilson Yes, it is vulgar. the problem is Saif is on it bar-chested as well. What kind of message does this send? But these kind of vulgarities are so common in the modern western world, it has ceased to be shocking anymore.

Trishna Ghatge Yes it is a bit vulgar. Also some of the scenes are not suitable for children to view. That is why it has been given an A certificate.

Dilnaz Seth
Dilnaz Seth The poster is a bit vulgar, but not something that needed to be banned. The MNS has made a big noise about it for nothing. But then aren't we used to that by now? :)
