Topic owner: Kirti Goyal: The recent episode of the popular reality TV show 'Bigg Boss 3' had all the contestants shouting, screaming & lashing out at eachother! This was post some footage that was aired which showed contestants bitching about eachother behind their backs. Has Indian reality TV gotten too ugly??

i doubt how these guys live so long without sex. As I heard Aditi and Shamita need it two times a day. I think they do it in the loo.

well i would say its not that they are getting ugly, they are actually showing us the ugly side of what we actually have within us.. but refrain the world from watching it.. now whether showcasing the ugly face of human nature on tv is right or required is a debatable question!

Well, I believe it is us who are nourishing such reality shows. We are the ones who give them high TRPs when such crap is shown. We are the people who would be anxious to know what happened in the last episode and what would happen in the next one?
If we only restrain ourselves from such useless shows, I guess such shows would loose ground as well.
It is the society, us, who have helped the producers to show all that.
So try to restrain from such shows if you really wanna make a difference.

I think the worst is 'Perfect Bride' in which prospective mothers-in-law are fighting tooth & nail with their prospective 'bahus'. How can we drag our family issues on TV for everyone to talk about in their living rooms? Don't these people have any self-respect left??

Yes, it's across all shows. Take 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' & the numberous public spats that Juhi & her husband keep having on the show. These guys just forget they are on national TV!

Yes I agree, it's getting a little crazy! It's as if for thr mad rush for TRPs these shows are almost resorting to desperate measures. I was in splits last night while watching Bakhtiyar, Aditi & Rohit were getting hysterical!
