Sudhang Gadkar
Sudhang Gadkar Hello, Pls recall the story of Badshah Akbar & Vazir Birbal. Badshah Akbar lost his dignity when he tried to use up a single drop of scent he had spilled on the ground. If a single drop of spilled perfume can tarnish badshahs image, An effort of single person will do wonders to safe guard our Earth. Do not use ACID to clean toilet which is most harmfull to EARTH, Use green chemical which is costly but safe. Your little effort in this way will bring wonders. ACT NOW and insist others to follow you.

S Radha
S Radha Who said u can't change the world. The mere thought of wanting to do something is a great one. Look around u and yr home. There are so many things which as a individual can do to help the environment. Plant a small sappling, do not waste the papers. Use cloth bags whenever u go for shopping, pay yr bills through net and do not print the receipts and many more....

These small things are easy to do, only one needs to start. Why not today, maybe nowonwards.

Jyoti Vinay Jain
Jyoti Vinay Jain I tend to agree with Sach Ka Samna, it's natural cycle that earth undergoes; more than one ice-ages too have been experienced.

Best individuals can do to comply with Nature is to remain mindful of wastages of the natural resources, especially water and woods, and avoid contributing to litter in the open.

On larger scale of course, as Sasanka says, "it is the responsibility of each country, each leader, each Government , each Industrialist to obey the rules consciously."

Sasanka Debnath
Sasanka Debnath In this connection I remember a story. Once a king founded a pond in the name of his ancestors and ordered all the milkman in his country to pour it with milk in a overnight as he wanted to see a milk pond in the morning. Astonishingly he noticed in the next morning that it was full of water. Tell how it happened? Each milkman assumed that the others will surely fetch milk then what will be the difference if I put one bucket of water? So, it is the responsibility of each country, each leader, each Government , each Industrialist to obey the rule and be conscious about the global problem otherwise it will be a full's paradise.

Raj Kian
Raj Kian US should take responsibility of 'all' the damage done to environment.they have released more than 45% of carbon in the world.however i think India should try to reduce its emission by using new technology which can be funded by USA.well the package can be the one which they had kept for the useless Pakistan.

Sach Ka Samna
Sach Ka Samna Global warning is a myth created by western countries which apparently creates many jobs like UN. Its natural cycle that earth melts up all ice and seasons change all around. An average western family disposes 3-5 kgs of plastics every day from food packagings.Co2 emissions are sky rocketing in west. Our contribution is negligible and not utilising energy will hardly have an effect. Its earth's natural cycle to spit us out whenever lives become nuisance.

Jatin Seth
Jatin Seth I would like to recommend an idea: Use the backside of printed paper to write notes. This saves trees from getting cut.

Waseem Rehman
Waseem Rehman I have made a habit out of this one: Never carrying plastic bags for my shopping. I carry a cloth bag with me & put all my shooping in it. You must refuse to take plastic bags from the shopkeeper, so automatically lesser bags will be produced.

Chahat Bhagat
Chahat Bhagat Hi Latika, you may be one person but you can definitely make a difference to the environment. After all, every drop makes up an ocean, so if everyone thinks like you, global warming can stop. You can do simple things in your daily life, like switch off the lights after you leave the room. Believe it or not, even such a small endeavor on your part can make such a big difference! & tell all your friends to do the same, you'll see the difference!
