Topic owner: Himanshu Mishra: After hearing about the sexual scandal: Shiney Ahuja and his domestic maid--- lets call this a scandal as he has not been convicted of rape and maybe the sex was consensual---some R&D companies should come up with such a gadget that unwanted and complicated sex can be avoided. We have gadgets in the market like pepper-sprays and electrocuting-rings for the fairer-sex to keep the male sexual predators at bay. Likewise a gadget to be kept by men---mainly promiscuous males--- should be invented; such gadgets should contain such chemicals that on it's consumption---to be injected or orally consumed---the testosterone level drops dramatically; this will cause the carnal instinct in an overdrive state to drop drastically; the male will loose interest in sex and a complicated unwanted sexual escapade will be avoided. If exactly such an invention is not possible then other inventions in similar lines should be thought of, to be kept specifically by males, which can douse the uncontrollable randishness in them.

I believe that the charges on him is just false and his maid is doing it just to make some extra money. He has got a lot of money and glamor....he doesn't need to carry out rape. There would be hundreds of girls available to him to go to bed willingly because of him being a film-star...or even for money. Besides, if he would have been so desperate, he could have just "buy" girls to spend night. Charges of raping is just ridiculous.
And yes, I agree with Ganapati Phule that the rape-laws in out country is fucking absurd.

a likely reconstruction of what happened Here is what could have happened that day.. Maid has consensual sex with Shiney and goes back home and discusses with family and they all think the best way to make money out of it would be to file a case immediately and later bargain for a few crores....given our absurd rape laws where a man can be arrested without bail and sentenced merely on the basis of a statement this is entirely possible.. This case is unlikely to go to a conclusion.. a huge sum of money will change hands and the charges will be withdrawn. Given our absurd laws it would soon be necessary for a man to sign a written agreement or make a video recording to prove consent during sex..he would still be open to malafide false rape accusations by someone holding a grudge or wanting money.
And yes, I agree with Ganapati Phule that the rape-laws in out country is fucking absurd.
