The auction of seats had been going on for a long time it is by chance that times has exposed the same.As we read these articles the game is still going on all over country.It is unlucky these colleges that have been caught.All the private colleges in India have the same procedure.I am a doctor and have graduated with a meritorious seat but have failed to get a PG seat as only few are available and the competition is high.And giving entrance exam in these pvt colleges is just wasting your money buying the prospectus as all the seats are booked and only those name appear on the merit list who have paid the money for the seat. There are many like me who are still fighting to get a merit seat in a govt institution as these Pvt colleges are out of our reach.Everybody knows that the regulatory bodies (MCI and DCI ) both are involved in the same.This accounts for the huge number of pvt colleges that have established in the country and are minting money and not to the surprise some of them belong to the politicians and regulatory body members themselves.Many regulatory members have there own colleges or are on the board of members list and will be planning to be there so that they can also mint money.There are many of our seniors who have flunked 3 to 6 times in exams but still they will be pursuing PG as they have the capability to pay for the seat.And many meritorious one will be simply fighting for the merit seat.It is really frustrating for students like us to see our batch mates who have been at our level throughout just pay there way to the seat and move on.we can understand that setting up an institution that also medical involves huge investment but the regulatory bodies can have a centralized entrance exam like CAT for the pvt colleges and look over to it that the process is fair.A complaint cell can be setup involving an independent committee that does not have any influence with any Institution our political party.Why?I will give an example , Our ex health minister knew all this was going on in the south colleges and couple of years back he was himself giving a speech in one of these colleges( 1 of 2 Chennai colleges caught on tape ) praising for the college's achievement himself stating as the Chancellor was his childhood friend.So you only determine why would a regulatory body point a finger at a college which has the backing of the health minister himself.The institutions can charge fees( which they are already charging) because we can get loan on them legally from the Bank and not against the Capitation fees. None of the institution should be deemed because as they become independent they start doing what they like .There is a lot more which many candidates can add to this topic but what is the point when all this is just gonna go down the drain.Money speaks in this business.These colleges will now make a secret committee members who will start finding the right politician who can save them by paying him crores and put dust on the matter .The news is on front pages as of now and soon it will be gone form the headlines .Alas for these institutions as they can go back to business.Therefore friends please add to these articles so that by chance we can get some fair politician's attention.Please add.
