How much pressure do you think the woman has had to bear in those few days? For a hugely popular athlete like her, it is obvious that the family, coach, friends, would all want her to play till she's able to. And then something like an engagement may just be the start of the downfall, with new responsibilities and the obligations that come with a spouse.
What would you do in such circumstances? Play on, or settle down? Or would you try and keep the balance - which means compromising...

It all depnds on how you take things, if you are a comprmising one then you will always end up compromising and if you are straight forward then you should set your priorities clear in life and make them clear to everyone around you.

Advesh Gowarikar yeah i agree with you Romita its not easy for women to balance both work and family so its better that they choose 1 and stick to it.

If I ould be in her place i would never give it up for marriage after all not everybody (i mean girls) get a chance to play at such level and that too after getting all that sucess and fame.
