Topic owner: Lavanya Sharma: We are very well aware of the Political conditions of our Country. Much recently 34 MP's were found absent from the Question hour section of the Parliament, which is one such mandatory session. It shows how sincerely our MP’s are doing the jobs they are meant to do in the parliament.
We, the Taxpayers incur a huge cost for running sessions in Parliament which the MPs are supposed to attend. In the Zero Hour (question-answer round) they are supposed to ask vital questions regarding the most important issues about their constituency or the country.
A survey shows As per a survey each MP is allotted a cost of Rs 2 Crore each (for a year) as a cost of attending the Parliament, which is exclusive of their salaries. But our representatives in Parliament do not bother to attend the parliament keep themselves busy with other good things in life. Unfortunately unlike any other government employee, their salaries don’t get deducted if they take extra leaves or do not get involved in the parliamentary proceedings.
The cost continues to increase and which increases the burden on the Tax payers.

Therefore,if GOVT was CORRUPT,then it PROVES that WE-INDIANS must be CORRUPT too..!!

I think there should be strict penality on all the MP's who are not working upto the mark and upto their expectation... Only then we can think of a transparency in the Political front of India
