Description :

Can we ever forget the sight of the Versace sweater-clad, 21-year-old lad, with a backpack full of weapons and explosives, walking across the floors of CST Railway Station, spraying bullets from the machine gun tightly clenched in his hand?

On another 26 November a year ago from today, Ajmal Amir Kasab, killing hundreds of innoccent people, became the face of terror in India.

--------------------------------------------------- -----------------
India awaits a landmark verdict on Kasab
The world needs to know how India can deal with terror
Should Kasab be hanged? Or, should he not?

Post your verdict on Kasab
He wants to die. But Should Kasab's view be counted as to his prosecution?

Laila says: Mahatma, once said that "a eye for a eye makes the whole world blind", and to be honest, he wasn't wrong. Taking Kasab's life doesn't necessarily eliminate the ills...

Kiran says: India's penal code only gives a maximum life sentence of 14 years,.. In this case, is 14 years enough? ... Is that justice for the police officers, constables, ATS and commando's killed...

What do you say?

This man, along with his partners in evil, plotted and executed the dreadful attack on the emblems of national heritage (Taj Mahal hotel), took hostage of several hundred innocent people, shot dead our heroes, terrorised and traumatised the nation for more than two days.

Today, as the prosecution is expects to wrap up the case by the anniversary of the attack; the entire nation is keenly awaiting its verdict on the single extant terrorist of dreaded 26/11 attack.

The trial, in its own rights, has become one of the most controversial criminal proceedings in the history of the nation. The man in question has added his share of drama changing versions frequently, and finally owning up his guilt, he has pleaded for death penalty.

But India seems to be divided – should he be hanged or should he not? Should Kasab’s ordeal in the lonely cell of Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai end so early or should his right to live be taken away as soon as possible? Tell us what you think.
