Do your best and be your best self. Enjoy participating in the event as much as you can. Be gracious in your self confidence and make as many friends as possible. Remember you are competing with equals from around the world. What matters most is enjoying the fact that you are part of such an international competition. Follow the advice in the Bhagavad Gita, to be indifferent to the result of your best efforts. Your joy and satisfaction should come from doing your best.

It may be better to tone down the overly nationalistic and religious rhetoric. Every participant represents their respective country automatically. Tiger Woods and Pete Sampras are world famous because of their performance in their respective sports. But how often do we hear them mention that they are representing the United States? Or about their private prayers to God? How often does Roger Federer mention he represents Switzerland in tennis? Why? There is simply no need for it.
