Karthik Balaji:
Hi Pooja! You'd obviously not be surprised to find people 'Google'ing you, but when I did that and read whatever little info is available about you and your life on Wikipedia and your blog, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that you're not just another pretty face. You may be an amazingly beautiful girl (which, obviously, you DO know :D), but probably what is more important, is the fact that you're an amazingly beautiful person with a beautiful and strong heart!
When I read about your Mum...WOW...I must say I am a HUGE fan of her! That's one strong-hearted and strong-willed lady! I was dismayed to read about your Dad! People like that give other men a bad name. But the fact that you Mum, Sis and you got out of that and came away so strong from it, is truly a testament to all of you and truly inspirational. You might even consider making this aspect of your life a little more public...it could be a source if inspiration to loads of people.
And your contribution to 'Nanhi Kali'...inspired...and remarkable! I can see that there could be a slight hint of a personal touch to the bond you share with this particular NGO, but it none-the-less again goes a long way in showing what a beautiful heart you've got, and what an amazing human being you are!
And finally, during the pageant...the fact that you took the stage despite your injury...that's all heart! Being an avid sportsman, I can appreciate what it means to overcome physical pain and still go on with the 'game'. That in itself is truly inspirational. It then no longer matters whether you won or not...you haven't let the country down...quite the opposite, in fact...you've done us all proud...you've shown the GRIT and RESILIENCE that is India! It takes real strength of character and courage of conviction to do what you did!
Lastly, you may think that all this is flattery...but believe me...its not! Every word has come straight from my heart, and every word is well-deserved. I just wanted to convey my first impression. You are just an amazing person and I'm proud to call you a fellow-Indian and a fellow-Human Being. Godspeed in all your endeavours!

Its not about how you fall its about how you get up
Thats ok. This whole beauty contest thingy is not worth brooding over. What you got is a heart that is trillion times better than your already pretty face. So dont worry poo truist in god and he would help you. And dont make beauty contests sound like they are some nobel prizes for physics or something. They are very superficial, they migth bestow instant fame but everyone knows that it is just not worth it. You are much more than a page 3 celeb. Keep up your good work and all the best in life
Prashakth Kamath:
Dear Pooja,
I had heard the saying "While I can run I will run,While I can walk I will walk,While I can crawl I will crawl but one thing is for sure I'll always be moving forwards."But you proved it with your actions Puja by walking into the stage & facing the whole world. You showed us that "Failure is not in falling down, its in Staying down".,You don't have to say sorry to India. You have made us proud & in my eyes you are winner of the Miss World pagent this year not only because of your beauty but because of your sheer determination to participate even after you were injured & face the world. It takes a lot of gut & indeed u showed the whole world what Indians are made up of.Wish u a lot more success in life!!!God Bless &Please Keep Smiling always because thats what is ur biggest asset!!
With lots of love & wishes,
Prashakth Kamath

Look. It's ok to feel guilty. But you can choose not to. And please don't apologize for not "getting results". It's not in your hands. Life is a system, you understand the mechanism, estimate the input, and give the maximum amount of it.. and wait for an output. When the output doesn't match the what you wanted... it means either your understanding of the mechanism or the type of input was not right, or there was not enough input.
Either ways, just go back to the drawing board. Chill out. You really did a good job, and the output was very nice. People did appreciate your grit in face of injury, and your personality.

Winning is not the only cretaria in the world. You are beautiful and miss world or no you are definately out of world.Stay beautiful and do not look to roles in film industry as others have and only financially progressed.Do some thing that
will bring cheer to you ,your family and the nation on top of it.
Govind Pangarkar
M Chopra:
Dear Pooja
Firstly, let me congratulate you for the brilliant work you did. I was also expecting and praying for you to win but from where I am looking at things you have. I will like to share your happiness since you will receive $10,000 for a cause that you very strongly believe in and are determined to take it the next level and I am absolutely sure, that the journey will continue...I wish you all the very best as I am confident that you are going to make it happen.
To be able to let your emotions out in front of so many people feels embarassing at the time but you know there is no shame in breaking down and going with flow, that is the best thing, you do to yourself and your loved ones because that is the truth and hiding truth in not good - as my mum and dad have always taught me.
You have not let anyone down, you have rather done yourself, your family and your nation proud!!! Keep it up!!!
Love and Best Wishes
M Chopra
