Pooja's wardrobe for Femina Miss India was designed by Fashion Designer Priyanka Rajiv, who has also designed a saree for Angelina Jolie when she was visiting India. Umesh Mohite, Facility Head –World Gym (Pune Branch) took care of her physical fitness. 

23 old Pooja who is 5.8inches tall was trained by pageant coach Ritika Ramtri Kumar of The Tiara Pageant Training and Modelling Academy. Kumar has trained several past Femina Miss India, Gladrags Megamodel, Haywards 5000 Mr India, Grasim Mr India, Gladrags Manhunt and Gladrags Megamodel winners. She is also the trainer of Miss Kerala 2008.

Winning question: “If there was one thing you would want to ask God, what would it be and why?’

Winning answer: “Since God can’t be everywhere, he created mothers. But then why are some people deprived of their mother’s love?” 

Semi final question: “What bothers you the most about what is happening in our country?”

Answer: “Though there are quite a few things about our nation that bother me, but the most important has to be the current political scenario. If our leaders have vision, motivation and determination, India will be a better place to live in. It’s the political system that can make or break our country.”
