About Shantanu & Nikhil

Known for their contemporary styles, Shantanu and Nikhil Mehra came with their Indian menswear couture line in 1999. After this, came their signature women's collections and their debut diffusion line in 2001. After completing their studies from the US, the duo decided to combine their entrepreneurial and designing skills, which lead to the birth of their label Shantanu & Nikhil in 1998. The company today targets the global young as well as the Indian trendy buyer. Shantanu and Nikhil were among the first to venture into the business of redesigning an entire look for the Indian superstar, Amitabh Bachchan, in a look which took Gaming on Indian Television by storm. The superior design aesthetic of "Shantanu & Nikhil" with electric colors, rich and sensuous fabrics, and silhouettes, that compliment the body has made it ubiquitous in the world of celebrity with some of the leading Indian socialites, Sports personalities (like Serena Williams, Zaheer Khan, Irfan Pathan, Glen McGrath, Stephen Fleming & Leander Peas) and Bollywood stars (like Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Dia Mirza, Neha Dhupia,A.R..Rehman, Kunal Kapoor, Shah, Shilpa Shetty, Sushmita Sen, Bipasha Basu) being lead purveyors of their style.
