Swapnil Joshi is an emerging talent of the television industry. He was basically an introvert initially and is slowly coming to terms with the media in recent times. He is opening up as a person and is trying to explore the other side of himself, which displays a very fun-loving and larger than life nature. If he would not have been an actor then he would not have any material existence in this world as he feel that he was born to act. He claims that he is the kind of person who gets along well with everybody.
He has carved out a niche for himself in the hearts of his fans in the television industry. His first brush with acting in soaps came at the age of nine. He got a call from the office of Dr. Ramanand Sagar who offered him the role of young Kush in the `Uttar Ramayana`. He has acted in one Marathi serial titled `Adhuri Ek Kahani` as the character of Yash. But the major turning point in his career came when he was offered the role of Sam, the prodigal son of the Singh household in the much popular soap, that he catapulted to fame. He also undergoes a complete image makeover in the serial.
Swapnil Joshi in 'Harre Kaanch Ki Choodiyahe' transforms into a responsible man who sees through his wife`s eyes and is ready for a showdown. This soap also made him mature into one of the best artistes of the television industry. His performances in the other soaps like `Shri Krishna`, `Amanat`, `Hadh Kar Di` and `Dil Vil Pyar Vyar` along with a cameo in the Nana Patekar starrer `Gulam-E-Mustafa` has created waves in the hearts of the audiences.
Recently, he is giving marvelous performances in `Comedy Circus` along with VIP. The best part of this show was when Swapnil enacted the art of the sex symbol Rakhi Sawant. Unfortunately, he was soon voted out of the show but got another chance to portray his skills through the wild card entry. There also he along with his partner VIP put up a high-class comedy act on the Hizras. His Aamir Khan look-alike underlip beard has made him stand out from other actors especially when the matter is of recognition.
