Do you imagine a museum standing right in the river? Such a wonder exists in Bremen: the Weserburg is located in the Weser River. I think it will not be an overstatement if I say that this is the most popular museum of modern art in the city: every day, tourists from different places and Bremen citizens come to the Weserburg, this inspiring place.
I have written some masters thesis writing about painting and have got interested in modern art. That is why I like the Weserburg so much. The museum opened in 1991, but it was given its current name only in 2007. The Weserburg is situated in a very beautiful place; the exterior itself is worth coming and seeing it: The address of the gallery: Teerhof 20 28199 Bremen The idea of the museum is very interesting: it presents private collections. People have the opportunity to see the works that belong to collectors from different countries of Europe. The Weserburg also has its own collection which is also interesting: it includes the works of Franz Gertsch, Gerhard Richter, Emil Schumacher, and Günther Uecker that belong to the second half of the 20th century. Here is one work from this collection: Franz Gertsch, Luciano 1, 1976. My friend and colleague in good thesis writing loves this work endlessly: he says the woman looks like his mother when she was young. As for me, my mom is a blonde, but this does not prevent me from saying that the work is incredibly beautiful.
