Born to Capt. Dr. Ashok Chopra and Dr. Madhu Chopra, she had a very varied upbringing. Priyanka had decided to become software Engineer or a Criminal Psychologist, but destiny had some other plans for her in store. In 2000, she was crowned Miss India and subsequently crowned Miss World same year.
Priyanka debuted in bollywood with a movie 'The Hero' in 2002, and then went on to act in over 28 movies. She has won 11 awards to date for her performance in movies: 'Andaaz', ' Aitraaz', 'The Hero', 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi', & 'Krrish'.
