Known for his loverboy image and dancing skills, Shahid Kapoor, so far, is one of the many actors who are underutilized by the film fraternity. Starting off his career with working in music videos and ads films, Shahid has now come a long way and established himself as one of the most promising actors in the tinsel town.

He debuted in 2003 with moderately successful ‘Ishq-Vishk’ followed by films like ‘Fida’, ‘Dil Mange More’ and ‘Shikher’, which won a lot of critical acclaim and praises for him. Year 2006 onwards, Shahid gave some exceptional performances in ‘36 China Town’, ‘Chup Chup Ke’ and ‘Vivah’ (which not only was the highest grosser of that year but also put Shahid in the top slot).
