Her real claim to fame in B-town is her last Bollywood flick ‘Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye’ with Abhay Deol. The movie did well at the box office and earned her critical acclaim.

This Gemini girl from Bihar, has traveled a long way from Patna to Mumbai, making it big in Bollywood. Starting off with small-budget print commercials, she got her first break with ‘Garam Masala’ (2005), where she played the role of an air-hostess.
She had a stronger presence and role in the Telugu movie ‘Godavari’ (2006), directed by Sekhar Kammula. Close on the heels, her role as Rani in Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Traffic Signal’ (2007) brought her appreciation of the critics.

The year 2009 opened on a bright note and we saw Neetu sizzle on the cover of Maxim India in Jan 2009. She will also be seen in a 3D mobile game, as the lead character that kills aliens.
Her latest movie ‘13B’, which casts her in a de-glam role as a simple housewife against southern superstar Madhavan, has not been a hit. Yet she has a number of movies: ‘Mumbai Cutting’ ‘Kushar Parsaad Ka Bhoot,’ and Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Rann’, lined up for release in the near future.
This girl of many talents has been an avid sportsperson before entering the glam world. She is a black belt holder in Taekwondo and has won a silver medal for it at the National Games. She has also represented India in the International Taekwondo Championship in Hong-Kong (1996), as well as in the World Korfball Championship in 1995 in New Delhi.
