By her own admission, she was an ‘ugly duckling’ with flat chest (read blog), who wore thick reading glasses and had books as her best friends. But being the school-topper and excelling in extra-curricular activities were her milestones.
 

In 2004, she came to Mumbai to make it big in Bollywood. She worked in two music albums namely ‘Dard-e-Sherlyn’ and ‘Outrageous’ which earned her glamour and fame. She was signed to work in 'Dil Bole Haddippa' directed by Anurag Singh under Yashraj banner, alongside Shahid Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee.
