As a Teach India volunteer you commit to 100 days of training prior to the start of the programme split as per your convenience. An honorarium would be awarded to all volunteers who deliver the programme at the end of the course. Two joint certifications by The Times Group and the British Council would be awarded to the volunteers for attending the training and also for delivering the program.
Classes for the current cycle of Teach India start in mid-April 2012. Training under the British Council commences on March 24, 2012.

- Morning Batch: 7:50 am to 9:50 am
- Noon Batch: 11.20 am to 01.20 pm
- Afternoon Batch: 01:50 pm to 03:50 pm
- Evening Batch: 04:50 pm to 06:50 pm
Curriculum Design and Training by
The pilot was run in the National Capital Region in 17 NGO classrooms. 17 teachers and 11 volunteers were a part of this. The pilot started on Aug 2, 2010 and was completed on Oct 13, 2010. Following this we launched the Nov 2010 cycle which started on Oct 25, 2010 and was completed on Feb 10, 2011. And recently, on July 25, 2011 we ended our third cycle which was launched in April 2011 which had 40 centers across NCR. It has more than 120 volunteers and 30 teachers teaching in the classrooms.
